Michael Christian: Fabulous sculptures, great site.

The Watts Towers: Heroic feat of inspired found-object architecture/sculpture by Simon Rodia, an immigrant tilesetter who started building it at age forty and continued for thirty years. I made a pilgrimage to see this for real quite recently. I have yet to find a website that does it justice.

Joseph Cornell: Very influential assemblage artist, American, 1930s to 1950s.

Peter Blegvad is a songwriter/musician, illustrator, cartoonist and writer. I often listen to his records while working. He has also written an essay "On Numinous Objects and Their Manufacture".

Visit Tim Walters' Doubtful Palace, high atop Mount Vraidex.
